Our Launch Plans and What It Means to You as a Beta User

May 30, 2008

Many of you have expressed your opinions and given us lots of feedback, not only about the GoToAssist Express product but its future price. While I don’t have details for you today, I’d like to address and hopefully ease your concerns about pricing.

First, we are building this product for the small business community. We’ve heard from you how much value you receive from GoToAssist Express but that you are also cost-sensitive and we will do everything possible to make GoToAssist Express an easy purchase decision for you. We are in the final stages of developing our pricing plan – I assure you we are taking your concerns to heart and will inform you of the price as soon as we have it.

Second, we will give all beta testers plenty of time to evaluate the commercial product, and you will be able to do this for free, so you can make a decision about purchasing without a disruption of service. We want you as our customer and we are committed to making this an easy transition for you.

Finally, along with pricing, we will let you know when the product will available for purchase. Again, there will be time for you to evaluate and decide if this is the right product for you. (Those of you with experience in software development will understand why we still can’t give you a specific release date.)

Once pricing information is available, I will hold a series of Webinars for you all so we can explain how the process will work and address your specific questions. As soon as I have these Webinar dates I will publish them.

I want to thank you all for your feedback and encourage you to continue participating in the forum. We are in the forum often, we read your comments, we’re listening and we appreciate your input.

What I loved about Sage Insights

May 20, 2008

I really enjoyed my first Sage Insights conference, it was great meeting everyone and I hope you liked the demos and ethernet cables. Here is a short list of what I loved about Sage Insights.

  • Networking - It was very cool to meet you all in person
  • Learning - I learned more about you and what you like about the product
  • Exhibit Hall receptions - I had some great conversations, one in particular was on the last day when someone told me she spent 45 minutes on her cell phone trying to talk her client through a computer problem. When she got into the office and was able to see her client’s screen, she solved the problem in just 5 minutes. Hum, 45 mintues vs 5 minutes, our products can really help people solve problems.
  • Magical Mystery Tour - Tarot Cards, Henna Tatoos, Beatles - now that was a party!

Shawn Bass and Why He Loves GoToAssist Express

May 6, 2008

Shawn recently posted a long review of GoToAssist Express. I found his explanation of why a third-party managed service like G2A Express is better than other types of services to be enlightening.

I hope you’ll read Shawn’s review here.
