Hey GoToAssist Express Users!

So, I’m sure by now you have figured out that at Citrix Online we take an iterative approach to developing our products. What this means is that when we release a particular feature, over the course of the next few releases, we will continue to improve/enhance it using your feedback. It is a great way for you to help shape the product that you use everyday.

So, my question to you now is: If you could ask for just one feature/enhancement, what would it be?

I look forward to seeing your replies in the forums!

  1. Joseph Worrall Says:

Allow installation by our customers who are running in Terminal Server sessions! This has bitten us many dozens of times. For a fair number of these, we had no way to support the customer since they could not get to the console of the server. Thanks.

  2. Ray Says:

Chat support for Macs. I use a Vista machine to support Windows and Mac customers but cannot chat with the Mac customers. I have them open a TextEdit or Word window, but this is very clunky.

  3. Andy Slezak Says:

Please make the installation on the client smoother, smaller, and more seamless… I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to have the customer click “manually download software” after the “auto-installer” just fails and 5 mins of sitting there waiting for a connection to happen.

On a different note, i’ve never once had a problem with gotomeeting… if you can merge that installer somehow, that would be perfect…

  4. John Elia Says:

I know you have the “Unattended Support Computers” and I set one up, but have neer been able to get it to work the way I think it should.

I believe I should be able to connec to this computer any time I want right> Just by selecting the “connect” button, but that button is never active… it is always greyed out. So, I would like an easy way to leave a computer in a state that I can quickly connect to it at my leasure.

    Thank you,
    John Elia

    • AnitaAL Says:

Hey John! That probably means one of three things (from my experiences):

      1. The customer has their machine off or disconnected from the internet, or
      2. Their virus scanning program ID’d g2a.exe as a problem (in which case they deleted it (and you must reinstall)
      3. Somehow they have turned off the Go To Assist.

I usually have them go to programs, Citrix, Go to ASsist Customer, and restart the program. That fixes half of the problems. The other half I just have to set up again from scratch.

  5. Greg Says:

Well, I’d really really like to see a Linux version of GTAE Customer, but since you only want one feature, I say….

Onsite Unattended Support installations! Would be really nice to have an installer I can quickly install myself while I am visiting my client. I do both on-demand support and onsite support, so having an installer on a flash drive would be very handy.

    Thanks!

  6. Michael Says:

I would like to see a way to create folders in the Unattended Support section so I can more easily organize the nodes listed.

  7. Felton Frantz Says:

    1. Allow expert to set session time out interval.
    2. Do not lock computer upon session disconnect.
    3. List both inattended and attendant required computers; click to initiate or request connection
    4. Share customer/computer list between licenses

  8. Gigs of Knowledge Says:

    Onsite unattended support installs!

  9. Kyle N Says:

Be able to kick someone out of a Unattended sesstion. I keep haveing Unattended pcs freze or reboot then it keeps saying it is in session.

  10. James Says:

I’d like the ‘Manual Download’ to have a Macintosh option. Downloading an ‘.exe’ installer on the Mac won’t do me or my clients much good.

  11. Jason M. Says:

Support for mobile devices: Windows Mobile, iPhone, Android, Palm WebOS, etc.

It would be great to see these customer’s phone screens. I realize some ToS from phone manufactures makes this difficult.

  12. Daryl Says:

Full support for Mac clients. Chat and File transfer.

  13. Ed V Says:

I would like to see the ability to end a session with an unattended support computer WITHOUT causing the remote system to become locked. Please.

  14. Tom P Says:

Ability to install unattended mode clients while physically on the computer.
Nothing is more of a PITA than having to start a session on a PC just to remote into itself to complete the unattended support link.

  15. Piet van Dongen Says:

    VOIP support

The only thing i miss now in your products is the ablility to have a audio converstation over the internet like skype.

I know Citrix Systems sells a communication appliance. Maybe a idea tot place that in your own datacenters so you can offer it to your customers.

    Regards,

    Piet van Dongen

  16. Hans Behrens Says:

Full Mac client support (multi-monitor support, file xfer, unattended support, etc). Ideally Mac-to-Mac support, but PC-to-Mac support in the interim would be fine too.

  17. Lance Webb Says:

I would like to be able to put Unattended Support Computers in groups. Hard to manage a larger number of machines. I would like to make drop down list by locations.

Also would be nice to get alerts from Unattended Support Computers.

  18. Wolfgang K. Says:

Option within the client’s setting to
NOT lock computer upon session disconnect.

  19. Robert Hebrank Says:

I would like the ability to blank the host screen. Many times the client will leave their desk when you are in session to go to lunch or leave for the day. This leaves anyone else in the office the ability to watch what we are doing. Very bad as we often help our clients with accounting packages! Thank you.

  20. Nimrod Says:

Let me set that only one of two screens of my PC is shown to the customer and set which on them has to be shown.

  21. Craig Avery Says:

Optionally lock the client system on disconnect rather than always locking the system. Many times it is necessary to leave the client system running the applications that were up when the session was started!

  22. Anita Geinert Says:

I would really like three things :-) :
    1. Ability to print remotely (like GoToMyPC)
    2. Ability to blank out the host screen. As Robert H said, I do not have a clue who might be watching me. That can be VERY bad when I am working on payroll.
    3. A way to set up unattended support from the computer that I want to access. Often, I will be at a client’s office and need to set their computer up so that I can log in after hours. I know this one would be hard but I can always wish!

    • Russ T Says:

I would like to be able to print remotely and blank the scren – this seems simple enough request.
I do setup remote sessions from the cpu I would like to use after hours – simply log on and request remote support from yourself – then stop sharing the screen – or you get a vide feedback sort of – no errors yet – just wierd to look at… but this is the only way I will do it – so I know it ise setup properly.

  23. Mike Schock Says:

Anita G. nailed it. Those 3 items would be greatly appreciated. Oh, one more thing… less attention to Mac’s lol

  24. Steve Says:

Urgently need to develop App for IPhone to allow GotoAssist to be used from phone to control PC. First one to make this work will get a lot of business (at least mine). GotoMyPC has version, but requires extensive setup on the end user side.

  25. John Says:

It looks like LogMeIn now has an iPhone client. Go To Assist should be soon – I hope…

  26. Dan Says:

I agree that the iPhone support would bring alot of new business. Personally I would like to see support for Windows Mobile. Since it already has great remote desktop support, more WM users might be ready for immediate use of GTAE. Just my 2 cts.

  27. Mardelle Says:

GOTOASSIST IPHONE App is a must the sooner the better.

  28. Russ T Says:

    1) The ability to blank the screen
(I say this first because it is my concern as above – and I would think that would be fairy easy to do)

    2) print remotely (I thought we could but have not tried)

    3) voice over ip

    4) cell phone connection

  29. TechQuest Says:

    Android App PLEASE

  30. Chris Skrod Says:

iPhone or Android App. Most of what I need bonding for on a phone is the ability to do remote support. A mobile app would be great although probably be difficult to deliver. This is a wish list however.

  31. Brett Says:

I need the audio from the remote computer… I actually run a TV station control computer remotely and having no audio is killing me. I see that LogMeIn just added that feature so it is not impossible.

Also the ability to kill an unattended session would be great. I too have been knocked off for one reason or another and the only way to fix it is to track someone down at the remote site and have them hard reboot the computer… which when I am working late at night is not really possible.

  32. flyingdoc1 Says:

Nat- This blog was published almost a year ago and there is no feedback from you on the status of any of these suggestions. I love GoToAssist Express but not having remote printing is a huge missing piece of the puzzle!

    • Brenda Dentinger Says:

The feature requests are all being tracked in the GoToAssist Express forum. You can access the forum by logging into GoToAssist Express web site, then click on the “forum” link on the left. Once in the forum (it should pass your credentials), click on the red “feedback” tab on the left. Then you can vote on all the feature requess and see the status.

  33. Billy Idol Says:

A Linux port would be great. If you have a version for Mac then a Linux version shouldn’t be too far behind. Boo for Windows.

  34. Keith Brown Says:

Linux support on the client and workstation.

  35. Todd Phillips Says:

Ability to put unattended support computers into groups.

  36. J. Gohil Says:

An iPhone app that allows support for impromptu and unattended support would be great!

Also, as others mentioned, providing a simpler connection mechanic for clients. At the moment I encourage all my users to use Firefox instead of IE, but the default behavior in FF is to save the file, rather than run it. And this typically leads to more confusion than is necessary.

  37. Keith Brown Says:

Also iPhone support would be great.

  38. Barrie Hedges Says:

Awesome work. I always find very unique posts here on your Blog.

  39. John Says:

We support all forms of clients, Windows, Mac, Linux etc. Many of the linux users are clued up enough that we can talk through many issues, but it is getting more common for new users to have Linux too, etc on Netbooks, and possibly tablets.
I also have both Linux and Windows destops at work, and I actually have to VNC back to my windows desktop to do a remote session in some cases.
(note we are often supporting sites with Mac desktops, and Linux servers.)

  40. JOHN Says:

    ipad…ipad…ipad app

  41. Clint Hanna Says:

Now that iPad is here, GoToAssist has got some catching up to do! I’m very keen to see it working for this, iPhone (of course), Android and other big nix

  42. Phillip Casalegno Says:

I would love to see an iPhone app. I’ve been a GTAE customer for almost two years (since the Beta started) and could not think of a tool I would use more.

Similarly, if there was an iPad app I would buy an iPad with 3G today! I would gladly pay up to $100 for such an app!

  43. Tem Boylan Says:

For all of you who have requested the ability to setup unattended support while on-site (e.g. at the target machine) Below are simple steps to accomplish this very easily. Also note line at bottom to blog which includes a short video about the process as well.

    Follow these simple steps:

    * Go to following URL: https://www.fastsupport.com/unattended
    * Click on “Set Up Unattended Support”
    * You will be prompted to login to your GoToAssist account
    – Enter your GoToAssist username and password
    * You will be prompted to enter your system username and password
    – (e.g. Domain Admin, Local Admin, Local User Account with
    install rights, etc.)
    * You will be prompted to enter the following information
    – Computer nickname (e.g. Bob’s Office Computer)
    – Access Code (Unique to this machine)

That’s It. Your Computer will now show up in your Unattended Machines list!

    http://blog.gotoassist.com/2010/05/26/setup-an-unattended-session-on-fastsupport-com-in-under-2-minutes/

  44. Kyle P Says:

I always get stuck with a machine that is stuck “In-Session” (happens when configuring routers on the remote machine) would like the ability to kill that session and start over instead of waiting for it to become available again…which takes FOR EV ER!

    • Brenda Dentinger Says:

Hey Kyle, thanks for sharing. i sent this to our customer care deptment, let me know if you are still having this problem.

  45. Nick Rees Says:

iPhone app! I always have my iPhone available even when I don’t have access to another computer, and even if a had a computer available, I may not have wifi available. My phone almost always has a data connection.

I also think the app should be FREE for those with an account. If I can log-in to my account from any computer for free, and support someone, why would I want to pay to have the app on my phone? My phone is just another computer.

    Thanks for listening.

  46. Tom Says:

Ipad App PLEASE! Please don’t make me switch to Log Me In.

  47. think Tech solutions Says:

We need an android app asap. Think about how many people have android phones just in the last quarter they have sold more phones then iphone and also windows mobile in fact they are the 2nd largest phone operating system currently. The fact is if you make an app for android for all the people that pay for unlimited support and that currently have android phones it would help us out alot I know I would be willing to pay a little extra for an android app. So please make an android app. One another nice improvment would come in the way of categories I have several compaines I do IT work for and It would be nice to have a way to add groups thank you.

  48. Joey Lewallen Says:

Let’s get those Iphone and Ipad apps programmed! Webex and LogMeIn are available on Apple’s App Store.

  49. Danny Says:

    unattended support:

    1) already suggested – ability to group them
    2) already suggested – ability to push the install with credentials to computers via a configured msi for whole networks
    3) not sure if yet suggested – ability to transfer sets of unattended computers between gotoassist accounts – we have many on one account but have others accounts and could do with accessing them from the others.

  50. brad joiner Says:

another one adding an ipad app to the wishlist.

  51. CallDon Says:

The early beta version of GoToAssist showed when a client’s computer was in use and a different color when it was idle. I miss that feature.

  52. Bruce Says:

GoToAssist makes my support life a breeze. And I work with Unattended sessions all day. So Bravo for a great product.

But sorry to tell you that the IPad is the greatest weapon I have ever seen for providing quick 24\7 support for my clients. (3G means I am NEVER not available for creating revenue!!!!)

Currently I am forced to use an RDP app (Itap RDP..wicked cool) to access a machine on the network that has my GoToAssist tools. I admit it works very well. But a native GoToAssist Ipad app would be slick!

And you already let teamviewer beat you to the punch. Their Ipad version released today.

    • Brenda Dentinger Says:

Thanks, Bruce, so much for the lovely feedback. We are hearing the request for and IPad App quite a bit so stay tuned!

  53. Mac Says:

Request for a temporarily /Installation password (not my main password) for unattended support while on-site (e.g. at the target machine). I guess im just being paranoid, but here is why…. while at a client offices I encounter a lot of malware infected computers and have to install unattended support at that computer. This malware could have trojans or key-loggers and i would just like to know that my main password is secure.

  54. Mac Says:

oh yeah and App for iPad…. Pretty please with sugar on top (hope that pushes you guys along)

  55. Richard Robinson Says:

I have read the comments so far but no real answerback – on the IPHONE App. I would love to ahve the ability to remote control from and IPHONE and control and Iphone. Many of our clients are starting to use Iphone over blackberry so phone control wpould be great.

Agree with comments that it should be free app if you currently have a login to GTA for a PC.

    • Brenda Dentinger Says:

Richard, thanks again for checking on this. Have you looked at our user forum and voted for the iPhone/iPad app? If not, I encourage you to login to your account on the GoToAssist web site, go to the forum, and click the red “feedback” tab. You can vote there, seeing everyone’s votes helps us guage importance of feaures. (And lots of people voted for this so it is important.)

      Thanks again!
      Brenda

  56. Richard Robinson Says:

Ability to have screen recording playback in a dual screen or ability to zoom in oin a screen. When playing back my recordings anyone with a dual screen I see 2 screens played back on one screen. Hence the resolution is bad to playback on I cannot see anything clearly other than 2 screens squished up on one screen..

  60. Brenda Dentinger Says:

Hi there. I forwarded your request to our support department. They contacted me and said they are helping you. Thanks for writing.

  61. Melony Buchner Says:

Hey all! I’m appreciative of the valuable post. May reference your blog post in mine? Thanks!

  62. Joseph Says:

2 Most important features that are desperately needed so that I can cancel my logmein rescue account:

    1. Android and iphone App (I agree with Think Tech taht Android is the way to go and is picking up market share siginificantly faster then iOS at this point)

    2. Ability to remotely support smarthphones including blackberry, android and iphone. I’ve been able to do this with rescue for YEARS… what is taking so long on this?

    • Brenda Dentinger Says:

Thanks for reaching out Joseph. I sent your request to our product team. We all agree mobile device support is important :-)

  63. Jerry Says:

An iPad version of gotoassist would complete my portfolio of support tools. With this missing piece I could run my entire business from my iPad. I’m a gta customer now but logmein figures this out first I’m going to make the jump.

    Thanks

  64. Todd Says:

    iPad……iPad …….iPad ……iPad……

    Lol..

    That is all.
    T.

  65. Otto Overton Says:

very surprised by the lack of a Android client and now even more so after seeing that people have been here requesting it for a year and you STILL don’t have it. This will diffidently be a major setback for this product when it comes to the purchasing decision.

  66. Drew Says:

    Several things:
    1. Ability to kick a session/restart a session. When you get booted out of a session sometimes it is stuck at in-session.
    2. Linux, Iphone, and Android support. Let me quote Citrix’s slogan… Any device, anywhere….
    3. Unattended install that can be done via a link without the need for the client to put the gotoassist username and password. That way I can email it out to someone and have a session ready to go when I get to it.
    4. Better client install. Way too many times the install will not launch for the user. A simple embedded/wrapped exe would be preferred. Quite a few others do this… why cant citrix?
    5. Remote printer support would be nice. Amazingly I sometimes have to print something from someones machine.
    6. Ability to change color schemes more quickly. Sometimes I need to downgrade the color scheme to 256… I normalize the screen, go to tools, then preferences… 4-5 steps. This could be a single step deal.
    7. A nice api, or customized url to allow people to start a session without a key or a specific url being generated. Sometimes you just want them to go to blah.com and click the darn button.

Citrix has a great product going for them. It just needs a bit more polish.

  67. Brent Says:

Assuming that the GTA team is working on mobile apps for Android and IOS (note the preferred order), could someone illuminate us regarding a potential timeline? Thank you!

    • Brenda Dentinger Says:

We know this is important and are indeed working on this. Unfortunately we don’t have a timeframe due to the nature of software development. Thanks for asking, we’ll keep you posted.

  68. csydude Says:

Being able to support a smartphone would be great, but more important to me is using a smartphone to support PC clients. We use blackberry but I’m sure other platforms are needed too. I can’t carry a laptop everywhere, but my phone is always with me. Customers call when they need help… often when a computer isn’t at hand.

  69. Patrick Says:

    ANDROID/IPAD APP please!

  70. Brenda Dentinger Says:

We are working on this and hope to deliver something early next year!!

  71. Noel Burke Says:

My ‘workaround’ for using GTA via an iPad goes something like this:

I have a server at work that I dedicate this type of access with – that has terminal server setup on it. Just a plain old Windows 2003 Std server with terminal services on it.
Load up the VPN connection on the iPad P2TP to our Sonicwall – but most are supported) to secure things properly – first and foremost.
Use iTap RDP to connect to the Win 2003 Server and connect to any workstations/laptops that are on the LAN via RDP within that RDP. Works just fine.
To give me a full blown Windows 7 experience – I leave my DELL Latitude Z600 running at work (or home) – connect to it… and then if needed – use the GTA session connection from there – or the Unattended Sessions for other preset remote support.
Either way… remote support becomes very easy to do with or without GTA.
I have done this from the side of the road yacking on my blackberry with a user, fired up a 3G connection on the iPad, VPN loaded/connected while running a GTA session of my laptop at work – which again… gives me access to anything/anyone I need to. Not lightning fast – but very acceptable speeds if I have a good 3G connection.
With good Wi-Fi – it all works beautifully and that much faster. I can typically retrieve files directly through GTA and then drag them over to the iPad with FileBrowser configured app… an extra step – but really?… not that big an issue.
I use the iPad for about 95% of my remote work as a network admin. I am NOT a Mac/Apple fan or convert… this is a device that just WORKS and works well with a little thought and improvisation – and the battery life is incredible.
Finally… I LOVE GTA !!… great product and great value for what you get. While I wish they had an app to do it straight up on the iPad – there has been nothing to stop me from doing business as usual in this configuration.
Then again – you have a bunch of Windows based tablets making appearances – so maybe that will be the platform of choice for those that want to work and support in remote fashion – yes?

  72. Dmitry Dayts Says:

Need to support Android OS users! This is essential going forward.

  73. Anrhony Says:

iPhone and ipad version of gotoassist

  74. Eric Halverson Says:

I would like a way to organize customers with multiple computers into groups or folders.

  75. Donnie Groves Says:

Been a GTA customer for about 6 months now, very happy…but the competition’s iPad apps look pretty attractive. I’ll trial them out soon enough, but I’d much rather stay happy with GTA. Citrix guys, can you give us any idea when an Ipad app will be released? There’s obviously more than a few requesting it.

  76. Caleb Says:

I would really like an iPhone app. Improvements on the Mac version would be good as well. As for the windows version I love it! Thanks for the great product!

  77. Joe Labadessa Says:

Better way to organize computers…saw the idea of a Folders-type view of Unattended Computers…very good idea!

Also, moving to an Android OS device in near future & it will need to be able to run G2AE from this OS. Blackberry also helpful, however I will most likely move from BB to Android device.

Keep up the great work!! Excellent product!!

  78. Paul Crisafulli Says:

Being able to blank the screen when using unattended access.
Able to use iPhone to access gotoassist express.

  79. Dan Elsener Says:

Android App !!! Mobile app for the major platforms like Android, iPhone and/or Windows Mobile should’ve been out a long time ago. Priority #1!!!

  80. Jeffrey Kellett Says:

Please allow us to use the IPAD to remote control our clients. Please!!!
This will make my investment in the Ipad go from just kind of neat to golden!!

  81. Miike Miller Says:

Please build a Linux version. You’ve already got it for the MAC, so it shouldn’t be too hard to port to Linux. I really don’t need the customer side to be Linux, just the Expert side would be fine. I need to be able to support Windows, and Mac machines from my Linux Laptop when I’m out in the field.

  82. tony Says:

I would love to support remote clients from my new xoom tablet, that would put gta a rock star status in my book! You guys have developed the best remote assistance software on the market, time to take it to the next level. Besides, your developers will have a good time working with the new droid platform. Happy employees and happy customers, its a win win baby..

  83. George T. Fadale Says:

I have used GoToMyPC for years and love it. GoToAssist is a remarkable product that makes my life better. Here are two requests to make your product stand out above all others.
I would love to support my smartphone users with a client for the various phones. (Android, Iphone, etc.) I have spent many hours walking them through setups I could do in seconds myself.
I would also like to use my new Xoom Tablet to initiate support sessions.
This would make my life so much easier. I would be able to support these users from anywhere I have a 3G/4G connection.
    Thanks
    for a great product.

  84. V Desai Says:

It would be great if you had some sort of “Page” feature where you can send a tone or beep to get the attention of the customer on the other end. There are times I need to chat with customer but they are not looking at the screen.

An audible tone would be a good way to get their attention to the screen.

  85. Ben Stedman Says:

iPhone 4 and iPad support PLEASE!!!

  86. Kenton Straughn Says:

Gotoassist for the iPad. This would be great since I’m on the road continuously and would be able to grab my iPad instead of the laptop to assist my customers.

    Thank you for your time.

  87. Salvador Manzo Says:

Echoing Joseph Worrall, support for operating within a Terminal Services/Remote Administration environment. A number of my vendors use GoToAssist as their support avenue, and having to be at the server console (increasingly difficult as I move to virtual servers over physical servers) is starting to push me towards having them find an alternate solution that is RDP friendly.

  88. Augusto Says:

Support for mobile devices: Windows Mobile, iPhone, Android, Palm WebOS, etc.

It would be great to see these customer’s phone screens. I realize some ToS from phone manufactures makes this difficult.

After that, there are 23 posts asking for updates and what have you. Your reply is simply we hear ya, we hear ya, we hear ya. IS ANYONE LISTENING ???????

We are loosing customers on our end. If no one from GTA can reply to our request and give us an exact timeline. Why should we continue to shell out hundreds of dollars for your product.

    – A very frustrated customer.

  91. Brian Littlejohn Says:

Multiple sessions from the Mac software is needed, as well as iPad software

  92. Chris Says:

I want to reiterate that being able to start a support session from my android tablet would be a lifesaver. I am trying to replace all of the emergency remote-support features of my Windows netbook with my Android tablet. However, until I can do GoToAssist sessions, I won’t be able to fully ditch the netbook.

  93. C Aal. Says:

    iOS app!

  94. Gunther Richter Says:

My single wish for 2009 (that means I have 2 more ;-) … Would like to see audible alerts (with enable/disable) for certain functions: e.g.

Is an android app for this product in development? Or are they just doing new software like the comment above which wouldn’t tie into my current account.

  96. Vikram Sridharan Says:

    Hey Jackie,

As a lot of the frustrated users out there we desperately need to support Android devices. With a 80 seat helpdesk using GTA for more than 4 years we are being forced to consider alternatives such as Rsupport that have started offering this ahead of you guys.
Additionally, a heads up, this needs to work on non-rooted devices as we can’t expect our users to root.
Another point, it should ideally support the ability to take control of the device connected via USB to a computer shared on GTA. It would not be possible to expect all these devices to connect directly.
Please have a look at your competitors more closely, you are forcing us to :(

It’s been a month since the last update, there are only 5 more for this year.

    Android Tablet app

  98. Ryan Lanham Says:

Android Tablet app for the Honeycomb OS – would be extremely helpful for remote support.

  99. Isaac Says:

Really could use an Android Tablet app. it would be very helpfull when out and about and need to resolve a quick issue.

  100. GenDetective Says:

Android tablet support (ie. Motorola Xoom) similar to what is now available for the iPad.

  101. David Powell Says:

Would like andriod support. iPhone too, I guess.

  102. David Powell Says:

Also, have many clients with Linux servers. A linux guest would be so usefull, even if just CLI

  103. Sean Almas Says:

I need android, ipad, iphone, plus the ability to blank screen, lock keyboard and mouse for security. Sooner rather than later as I am already exploring other solutions this stuff already. About to lose another customer.

  104. phil Says:

what about for GoToAssist Corporate? we need an android client. it’s crazy that you don’t have this developed yet!

  105. F. Bacon Says:

Well, December has come and gone with no G2A Android Client. With the thousands upon thousands of free apps on Android, G2A remains no where to be found. This makes no sense. Makes one wonder if Apple or Microsoft is paying Citrix a few $$ under the table to slow or halt development of an Android Client??

Things that make you go hmmmm???!!!

    • Jackie Murphy Says:

Good news! GoToAssist Corporate has been enhanced to enable IT helpdesks and customer service centers to deliver fast, secure technical assistance to Android devices. To get started accept the Terms of Use for the Beta Program here (choose ‘I Accept Terms’ at the bottom of the document). On acceptance you will be prompted to download the GoToAssist Android Beta Guide. The Beta Guide outlines system requirements and provides details for how to get started supporting your Android mobile devices.

If you’re looking for GoToManage or GoToAssist Express for Android, that app is being developed now…expecting release within a few months.
