Fresh New Look and Feel for the Customer App
  • The GoToAssist (Customer) app for Android has received a refreshing new look and feel throughout the mobile app for a visually pleasing experience with improved performance.  These changes also compliment the customer app’s recently updated counterparts – the GoToAssist Remote Support iOS, desktop, and web apps.  (MOFRESH-142)

Terminology Change from “Expert/Technician” to “Agent”

  • Cosmetic changes were applied to the instructional text of all app screens to now refer to the “expert” or “technician” as the “agent.”  These changes were made as a progression in aligning terminology across the GoToAssist products; using one term (i.e., agent) to refer to the user that is hosting a session.  (MOFRESH-105)

Bug Fixes

  • Fix for allowing the customer’s mobile device screen to be displayed when they allow screen sharing during a support session.  (MOFRESH-145)
  • Fix for correctly displaying the chat window with clearly defined margins within the mobile device screen on the customer side.  (MOFRESH-146)
  • Fix for displaying the screen sharing icon as enabled or disabled on the customer side when the app has been sent to background mode, then relaunched from the Android Notification toolbar in the top navigation.  Previously, the screen sharing icon would display as disabled regardless of the screen sharing status on the customer side.  (MOFRESH-158)
  • Fix for displaying the screen sharing icon as enabled or disabled on the customer side to correspond with the current screen sharing status invoked by the agent.  (MOFRESH-178)
