What’s New?

Removal of Citrix branding
  • In alignment with our company’s upcoming merge with LogMeIn, Inc., all Citrix logos, images, and text have been removed throughout the GoToAssist product lines.  In addition to the removal of Citrix branding, our Terms & Conditions as well as Copyright information have also been updated to reflect those of LogMeIn, Inc..  Learn more.  (GTAUP-1633)

Removal of GoToAssist Customer OS < 4.2 App for Android

  • The GoToAssist (Customer) OS <4.2 app for Android is no longer available for download from the Google Play Store. Any customers who currently have the app installed can continue to use it to join support sessions, and will remain unaffected by this discontinuation.  However, after  September 2017, the app will no longer support customers on mobile devices running Android OS 4.0.X (Ice Cream Sandwich) or 4.1.X (Jellybean), and will require Android OS 4.2.X (Jellybean MR 1) or later and a download of the GoToAssist (Customer) app in order to join support sessions.  For more information, please see the Community announcement Learn more. Bug Fixes

  • Fix for allowing full remote control on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Samsung Note 4 Android devices.  Previously, remote control was limited to opening/closing the application menu, but the agent was not able to control apps when connected to these mobile devices.  (GTAUP-1559)
  • Fix for improving screen sharing response time and overall performance on the agent side when connected to a customer using an Android tablet.  (GTAUP-1546)
  • Fix for displaying the customer’s mobile device screen properly on the agent desktop application when the customer’s mobile device orientation is in landscape mode.  Previously, the agent desktop application would display the customer’s mobile device screen rotated 90 degrees to the left.  (GTAUP-1649)
  • Fix for displaying the customer’s mobile device screen properly on the agent desktop application when using a Google Nexus 6P mobile device.  (GTAUP-1511)
