GoToAssist Corporate App for Android (v1.0.128) Release Notes

What’s New?

Support for Android OS 7 (Nougat)
  • Customers that use the GoToAssist Corporate app for Android to connect to support sessions can now join these sessions using mobile devices running Android OS 7.X.X (Nougat).  When a representative connects to a customer’s mobile device running this version of Android, they are able to share their screen, allow remote control, chat, and retrieve remote diagnostics.  Previously, customers would encounter a message, “Your device is not supported” when attempting to join a support session from a device running this version of Android.  (GTA-8719​)

Known Issue

Issue with Android OS 7 (Nougat) Being Unsupported on LG Devices

  • There is currently a known issue with the GoToAssist Corporate app for Android that affects customers who join support sessions from LG devices running Android OS 7.X.X (Nougat).  At this time, customers who use an LG device to join a support session and is prompted to install the GoToAssist Corporate Add-On LG app, they are redirected to the Google Play Store and encounter a message, “Your device isn’t compatible with this version.”  When this occurs, the customer is unable to join the support session.  Please note that Android OS 7.X.X (Nougat) will be supported on LG devices in the next release of the GoToAssist Corporate app for Android.  (GTA-8820)​
