SUMMARY:

What’s New?

Retirement of Older Builds

  • Older builds of GoToAssist Remote Support have been retired from the Build Version Updates menu selection, and all users are encouraged to update to the default build (v3.4, b1361) going forward. Users of the GoToAssist Remote Support Expert and Customer desktop applications are encouraged to update these applications automatically, and can do so on-site or remotely in various ways (learn more).  This change was made as part of our GoTo products’ continued transition into LogMeIn.
  • Note that existing users and device groups using “infrequent updates” and set to older builds will continue to be able to use builds v3.2, b1343 and older up until December, but new users and those on regular updates will not be able to downgrade to an older build. Before 12/4/17, all customers will need to update to v4 to avoid uninterrupted service, as all older builds will be fully discontinued at that time (learn more). (GTAUP-3586)
